City of Albany’s public golf course now open on Wednesdays

ALBANY – The Flint River Municipal Golf Course is now open seven days a week after adding a shortened Wednesday opportunity to its schedule.

The 18-hole course, located at 2000 McAdams Road, is now open on Wednesdays from 1-8 p.m. and from 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m. on all other days of the week. Last cart checkout is 5 p.m. each day.

A tee time is required for weekend play at the facility.

The course at Turner Field is a public course that opened in 1964 and has an overall 69.4 U.S. Golf Association rating.
