Convenience store scene of burglary attempt

ALBANY — Quick Buys Convenience Store at 3522 Sylvester Road was the target of a recent burglary attempt.

Dougherty County Police said that during the incident, an unidentified man was seen shooting at the store’s front door, trying to shatter the glass to get inside. No one was injured, but DCP said it needs the community’s assistance identifying the suspect.

The suspect is a male known to travel around Sylvester Road on a red and black bicycle.
