Darton State College announces 32 Dean, Merit scholarship winners

ALBANY — Darton State College announced Monday that 32 students have been awarded either the Dean Scholar Award or the Merit Scholar Award for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.
The Dean and Merit scholarships are awarded each year to incoming freshmen that have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and have shown evidence of community and school involvement. This year’s scholarship recipients are:
Dean Scholar Award

Merit Scholar Award

The Dean Scholar Award is a scholarship that covers the total cost of in-state tuition and fees for fall and spring semesters. Recipients of the Merit Scholar Award receive a scholarship for half of the total cost of in-state tuition and fees for fall and spring semesters. Both scholarships are funded through the Darton State College Foundation.
