Dougherty County school bus involved in an incident

A pedestrian was carted off in an ambulance after being struck by a Dougherty County school bus Monday morning, officials say.
R.D. Harter, spokesperson for the Dougherty County School System, said that a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a school bus around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Oglethorpe Boulevard and South Jefferson Street.
Dougherty County EMS was on the scene and took one person, which appeared to be an adult, away on a stretcher. No children were injured in the collision. The students were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
