Dougherty County Schools to be closed Monday

ALBANY, Ga.: The Dougherty County School system will close all schools Monday, spokesman R.D. Harter said just after 9 p.m. Sunday.

Dougherty County joins a growing list of schools that will either be closed altogether or delay openings as winter weather moves through the area. All 12-month employees, however, are asked to come to work by noon as weather permits.
