Draffin Tucker announces new team members

ALBANY – Draffin & Tucker LLP recently announced new additions to its team.
“Draffin Tucker continues to grow – with both the clients we serve and the individuals who join our team,” Managing Partner Jeff Wright said in announcing the new hires. “The expansion of our team reflects our continued commitment to providing the best services for the success of our clients.”
Staff:
— Beth Back joins the Draffin Tucker team in the Albany office as office manager. She has extensive experience in billing, collecting and customer service.
— Cameron Burleson joins the firm as a senior auditor in the Atlanta office providing auditing services in the health care practice. He holds both master of accounting and master of business administration degrees from Georgia College and State University, as well as a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of South Carolina.
— Rosana Colon-Menendez joins the firm as an associate II in the Atlanta office providing tax and audit services in the commercial practice. She holds an associate of science degree in Business Administration from Holyoke Community College, a bachelor of business administration degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and both master of accounting and master of business administration degrees from Mercer University.
— Kimberly Fleming joins the firm as a staff accountant in the Albany office providing audit services in the health-care practice. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree and will receive a bachelor of accounting degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in December.
— Sidney McClendon joins the firm as a 340-B compliance analyst in the firm’s 340-B consulting practice. She has experience working in federally qualified health centers and in 340-B consulting.
— April Spivey served as an intern this summer and transitioned into a full-time position with the Albany office as a staff accountant in the firm’s health- care practice. She holds a bachelor education degree in middle school math from Western Governors University and an associate degree in Theater. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of science business administration degree in accounting from Western Governors University and is on track to graduate in May.
— Beau Watson served as an intern this summer and transitioned into a full-time position with the Albany office as a staff accountant in the firm’s health care practice. He has earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and will complete a master of accountancy degree this December, both from Troy University.
Interns:
— Sydney Madison is serving as an intern in the Atlanta office. She earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting at Kennesaw State University in May.
— Mateus Souza is serving as an intern in the Atlanta office. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing at Kennesaw State University and is currently working toward a master of accounting degree at Mercer University.
