From staff reports

Walter Phelps died Saturday after nearly a month in a hospital following the shooting.

Edwards said Monday that he will charge Jordan Harris, the suspected gunman, with murder based on preliminary information obtained from Phelps physician and investigators.

Meanwhile, Edwards said he will review court transcripts from a Lee County Committal Hearing where it was suggested that Phelps was threatened at some point with violence if he fired a certain individual, but said at this point it still appears to have been an armed robbery.
