FALL SPORTS AWARDS: Lee County’s Garet Morrell, Dean Fabrizio and Deerfield-Windsor’s Austin Cain honored by The Herald

Lee County quarterback Garet Morrell was named the Albany Herald’s John Reynolds Player of the Year, while his coach, Dean Fabrizio, was named the John Reynolds Coach of the Year after helping the Trojans to another successful season.

Deerfield-Windsor linebacker Austin Cain was named the Albany Herald’s People Choice Player of the Year after helping the Knights to the GISA state semifinals.

Lee County softball standout Ashley Nichols was named the Softball Player of the Year.
