ALBANY, Ga. — Justin Brian Stewart was a Worth County Deputy when Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit agents arrested him in April.

Stewart has been indicted by the Dougherty Grand Jury Wednesday for selling oxycodone, a controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm, a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 handgun and violation of an oath by a public officer and having drugs not in original container.

In other action, the grand jury indicted Ladarion Cardae Harmon for three counts of aggravated assault on charges of shooting Hubert Alexander Williams on April 5 with a pistol.

Harmon was also indicted for aggravated battery for the damage to Williams right leg. The final three indictments were for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

In a drug and firearm related case, the grand jury indicted Harmon’s victim, Hubert Alexander Williams, for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on April 5.
