Groundbreaking set for new Dorminy Medical Center emergency room

FITZGERALD — Officials with Dorminy Medical Center here will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital’s new emergency room facility Monday, marking a significant milestone in the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality health care services to the community.
The groundbreaking ceremony at the 200 Perry House Road facility is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will include hospital executives, local dignitaries, community leaders and health care professionals, who will gather to celebrate the commencement of construction on the project.
Dorminy Medical Center’s new emergency room will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to enhance patient care, efficiency, and overall emergency response capabilities. The expansion underscores the hospital’s dedication to meeting the growing health care needs of the community and ensuring that residents have access to the best possible emergency medical services.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be followed by tours of the hospital and a light lunch.
