Healthy Halloween Treats
Mary Braswell
ALBANY — Halloween is rapidly approaching and the candy aisles are loaded with every sweet imaginable. There are snack-size chocolate bars, sour worms, bubble gum, lollipops and much more to entice children and adults to lose all self control of the sweet tooth.
If one of the scariest things for you is exposing your kids to too much sugar this Halloween, there are some fun alternatives.
These are easy to make (the kids can lend a hand), fun to eat and even qualify as healthy. Try these low-calorie and low-fat treats that are full of Halloween fun. They’re great for home, school and fall festivals.
