The Bearcats are the hottest team in the area and enter the AAAA state tournament as region champs with a 17-game winning streak. Next: vs. Ola, Friday, 7 p.m.

The Greenwave should move up in the state poll after beating fifth-ranked Lanier, 56-55, to win their fourth region title in a row. Next: Vs. Hancock Central, Friday, 6 p.m.
