Hodges takes strong lead; GOP race tight

With 32 percent of the voted counted, former Dougherty County prosecutor Ken Hodges had a strong lead over his opponent, Rob Teilhet.
Hodges has 66,882 votes, or 69.8 percent of those cast. Teilhet has 28,876, or 30.2 percent.
In the Republican contest, no one was breaking from the pack.
Preston W. Smith is leading with 75,040 (35.1 percent), followed by Max Wood with 69,669, 32.5 percent, and Sam Olens with 69,345, 32.4 percent.
