Investigators seek Albany food store burglar

ALBANY — Albany Police detectives are asking for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect who burglarized Priya Food Mart at 210 S. Jefferson St. on Monday.
Police officials say the male suspect entered the store by shattering the glass in the front door sometime between around 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the main office. In addition, officials say the suspect stole lottery tickets and cigarettes from behind the sales counter.
Investigators describe the suspect as wearing a long t-shirt, khaki cargo pants, dark-colored boots and a cap with no emblem. The robber also had a tapered beard, officials say.
