Lack of rain impacts crops
Time will tell if the ongoing drought that has enveloped the state will hinder the agricultural industry. Wispy clouds over a Lee County cotton field this week offered little hope of precipitation. Southwest Georgia cotton farmers’ crop was devastated in 2018 by Hurricane Michael.
