PERKINSTON, MISS. — The No. 7 Darton College women’s soccer team picked up another victory Sunday afternoon a couple states west of Georgia, defeating Mississippi Gulf Coast College, 4-0.

The No. 7 Lady Cavaliers (11-1-1) spread the scoring around as usual, as Shelby Bush, Josefin Debroen, Shenel Gall and Sashanna Campbell all had a goal.

Kristine Kelly, Bush and Debroen added assists for Darton, which will stay in Mississippi today for a match against Pearl River College.

“We’re (happy with where we are),” head coach Ken Veilands said. “This trip’s good for us. Tomorrow will be a good test. We (only) have the four remaining region games (left in the regular season) — two at Georgia Perimeter and Middle Georgia — so (the trip) is a great chance to get the little things worked out .”
