Lady Rams reach title match

FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Albany State women’s volleyball team has a ninth consecutive SIAC tournament championshp in its sight.

All the Lady Rams need is one more win and they will also win the 10th overall program in the history of their program.

Albany State put itself in this position by beating Claflin and Kentucky State in consecutive sets. The Lady Rams will play for the title at 3 p.m. today against an undetermined opponent.

“If I had my choice, I would be sitting right where I’m at,” Skinner said. “We feel really good about this. It’s just very special to be able to overcome some huge odds and return to the championship match.”
