ALBANY — Community banking has the power to bring people together, foster economic growth, and create a thriving environment for businesses and individuals. AB&T officials understand the significance of community and recognize it as the bedrock of the bank’s mission.

As the bank looks toward the future, it is proud to announce the creation of a new position: Community Banker.

Terri Christian will transition from her current role as Branch Manager to assume the multifaceted responsibilities of the Community Banker position. Christian’s experience and expertise make her the ideal candidate for this role, which encompasses various crucial aspects of community banking.

In her new capacity, Christian will manage and grow a portfolio of clients and work diligently to develop the bank’s Client Finance and Workplace Banking suite. She will be responsible for directing AB&T’s community service initiatives and investments. By actively engaging with the local community, she will foster meaningful partnerships with relevant agencies and organizations to expand AB&T’s Community Reinvestment Act footprint.

“Terri’s appointment as our Community Banker is a testament to her remarkable banking career, characterized by her heart for people, dedication to service, and commitment to making a positive impact on the community,” AB&T CEO Perry Revell said in a news release. “We believe that through this role, Terri will be able to further extend our reach and provide a broader range of opportunities for our customers, allowing us to continue delivering the gold standard of community banking.”

AB&T’s focus on community has always been unwavering, and the introduction of the Community Banker position solidifies its commitment to fostering strong relationships, supporting local businesses, and driving economic development. By leveraging Christian’s compassion, expertise and relational skills, AB&T aims to empower individuals and businesses to thrive, irrespective of their aspirations.
