ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 52 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Motor vehicle accident on the 1400 block of South Jackson Street;

— Simple battery (family violence) on the 500 block of West Residence Avenue and on the 100 block of School Street;

— Warrant service on the 800 block of North Cleveland Street;

— Theft by taking on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 2000 block of Gary Avenue;

— Family violence (unfounded) on the 800 block of Odom Avenue and on the 100 block of Westcott Lane;

— Suicide attempt on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Harassing phone calls on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 400 block of Hope Street;

— Forgery in the 1st degree on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and on the 300 block of Cordele Road;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 2100 block of West Waddell Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Collins Street and on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Remaining on business property after closing on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue;

— Marijuana possession (less than one ounce) on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue and on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Texting while driving on the 2400 block of Westgate Drive;

— Lost property on the 100 block of Embleton Court;

— Reproduction of recorded material for transfer, sale or distribution on the 100 block of Marie Road;

— Simple assault on the 300 block of Independence Drive;

— Driving under the influence on the 1100 block of North Westover Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 41 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road and on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Abandoned auto at the intersection of Paulk Drive and Oakhaven Drive and on the 3700 block of Countryside Drive;

— Family violence on the 100 block of Gatewood Drive and on the 4400 block of Stagecoach Road;

— Auto accident on the 3700 block of Gillionville Road and on the 400 block of Folly Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 1300 block of Louise Street and on the 1500 block of Dorough Avenue;

— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 1300 block of Clover Lane;

— Suspicious auto on the 4800 block of Holly Drive and at the intersection of Dale Drive and Lovers Lane Road;

— Traffic stop at the intersection of Nelms Road and Cooper Street;

— Loud music at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Bennett Drive and on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;

— Contact person on the 1400 block of Antioch Road;

— Hit and run on the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Drunk person at the intersection of Leary Road and Aristedes Road;

— Discharging firearms on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and at the intersection of Honeysuckle Drive and Radium Springs Road;

— Assistance to a motorist on the 5200 block of Leary Road and on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;

— Wires down on the 200 block of Lumpkin Street;

— Tree in the roadway on the 2900 block of Banks Avenue and at the intersection of Redbud Road and Roxanna Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 14 calls from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, an animal rescue, smoke scares, motor vehicle accidents, unauthorized burnings, a building fire, structure ventilation and a downed power line.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 44 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 33 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and one other call.

The medical calls included two abdominal pains, one non-traumatic back pain, five breathing problems, three chest pains, three diabetic problems, nine general sicknesses, two general pains, three psychiatric problems, two seizures, one stroke and two faintings. The trauma calls included two fall victims and eight traffic accident victims.
