James H. Dixon Jr. was re-elected Tuesday to a three-year term on the Southwest Georgia Farm Credit Board of the Directors at the organization’s annual stockholders’ meeting, which was conducted at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany.
Nearly 225 members and guests attended the meeting, which provides an opportunity for members to review the Association’s financial performance,and to learn about the coming year’s business plan objectives.
Members also elected the 2018 Nominating Committee, which includes Eric Cohen, Joan Michelson, Andrew W. Payne, and Terry S. Pickle.
Other members of the Board of Directors include John M. Bridges Jr., Clifford Dollar Jr., Robert L. Holden Sr., Edward D. Milliron, Kim D. Rentz, Tom Harrison and Jeffrey A. Clark.
Headquartered in Bainbridge, Southwest Georgia Farm Credit supports farmers and farm businesses, as well as rural property owners with financing. The association is part of the Farm Credit System.
