ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 21 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of Cedar Drive, the 500 block of Alice Avenue, the 3100 block of Graystone Lane, the 400 block of Flint Avenue and the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Aggravated assault on the 2200 block of Taft Street;

— Injured person on the 1200 block of Crawford Drive;

— Entering automobiles on the 500 block of American Lane, the 1800 block of Palmyra Road (two cases), and the 700 block of Willard Avenue;

— Simple assault on the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue;

— Animals at large on the 1700 block of Jean Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of East First Avenue, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;

— Possession of spice/synthetic marijuana/cannabinoids on the 1800 block of South Madison Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 800 block of West Third Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 1200 block of La Juana Lane and the 3100 block of Clark Avenue;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Animal calls on the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane and the corner of James Cross Avenue and Blue Springs Road;

— Child abuse on the 1500 block of Skylark Lane;

— Contact police on the 1300 block of South Mock Road;

— Family violence on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Contact person on the 4000 block of Moultrie Road;

— Juvenile problem on the 2600 block of Great Oak Street;

— Discharging firearm on the 1000 block of Spring Hill Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of Crusoe Village Court;

— Demented person on the 4500 block of Seymour Lane;

— Suspicious person on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 5 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Motor vehicle accidents on the 600 block of Pine Avenue and the corner of Newton Road and Lonesome Road;

— Smoke detector activation on the 1000 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Arcing electrical on the 100 block of North Harding Street;

— Road freight at the intersection of West Residence Avenue and North Jackson Street.
