ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by taking on the 200 block of Thornton Drive, the 1500 block of Eager Drive and the 400 block of Station Crossing Drive;

— Burglaries in the first degree on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street, the 1200 block of 10th Avenue and the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;

— Aggravated assaults on the 400 block of Lipsey Drive and the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1600 block of 11th Avenue and the 700 block of Eighth Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting (two incidents) on the 1000 block of Gordon Avenue;

— Forgery on the 1600 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Reckless conduct on the 100 block of Marie Road;

— Simple battery on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Open container on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Safety belt violation on the 100 block of Thornton Drive;

— Burglary in the second degree on the 100 block of North Jackson Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 1300 block of East Tift Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 1000 block of Gordon Avenue;

— Driving on a suspended or revoked license on the 300 block of Cordele Road;

— Interfering with a city officer on the 100 block of South Jefferson Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 18 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Suspicious persons on the 4700 block of Palm Avenue and the 1600 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway;

— Contact persons on the 100 block of Mockingbird Road and the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Family violence on the 2800 block of Spring Flats Road and the 1800 block of Mayflower Lane;

— Assist motorists on the 2700 block of Cordele Road and the 800 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road;

— Wanted persons on the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway and the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Suspicious autos on the 700 block of Holly Drive and the 200 block of Redbud Drive;

— Fraud on the 200 block of Gatewood Drive;

— Burglar alarm on the 2600 block of Crofton Drive;

— Residential burglary in progress on the 2300 block of Betty’s Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 3400 block of Sweetbrier Road;

— Loud music on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included alarm activations, public service, EMS assistance and a grass fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 57 calls on Thursday, available reports indicate. Medical calls included 11 respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, three mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, two altered mental status calls, two diabetic issue calls, two cardiac arrest calls and 15 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight falls, five auto accidents and two lacerations.
