ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 31 calls on Thursday into the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto thefts on the 400 block of East Broad Avenue, the 600 block of 12th Avenue and the 2600 block of Pointe North Drive;
— Arson on the 2200 block of Heather Drive;
— Burglaries, second degree, on the 1100 block of East Residence Avenue and the 1900 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of North Harding Street, the 3500 block of Habersham Road, the 900 Block of West Highland Avenue and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2600 block of McCoy Lane;
— Runaway child on the 800 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Missing person on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Entering auto on the 1600 block of North Valencia Drive;
— Sexual battery on a child younger than 16 on Blue Water Drive;
— Identity theft on the 3500 block of Wicklow Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 100 block of Daniels Court;
— Simple battery on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road.
— DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 32 calls on Thursday, Friday and the early hours of Saturday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Traffic stop on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 200 block of Lumpkin Street, the 2700 block of Winifred Road and the 2800 block of Newcomb Road;
— Inhumane treatment of animal on the 1600 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Bite case on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Auto accidents on the 1100 block of South County Line Road, the 3300 block of Sylvester Road, the 1900 block of Lily Pond Road and the 500 block of South County Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 1100 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 2800 block of Moultrie Road, the 3500 block of Moultrie Road, the 2800 block of Creedmoor Lane, the 1000 block of Cordele Road and the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Contact persons on the 4400 block of Nichols Street, the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane, the 300 block of Hollis Drive, the 2400 block of Cherry Laurel Lane and the 2400 block of Roxanna Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Fraud on the 300 block of Over Court and the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Family violence on the 4400 block of Nichols Street;
— Miscellaneous problem on the 5400 block of Newton Road;
— Assistance to a motorists on the 1000 block of Philema Road and the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 3700 block of Victory Street and the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday into the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Authorized controlled burn on the 1600 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Motor vehicle accidents on the 1200 block of North Jefferson Street and the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Arcing, shorted electrical equipment on the 2000 block of Melrose Drive;
— Medical assistance on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street and the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Unauthorized burning on the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 500 block of Johnny W. Williams Road;
— Mobile home fire on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Alarm system activated on the 2300 block of Dawson Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 53 calls on Thursday, available reports indicate.
Medical calls included two chest pain calls, three abdominal pain/problem calls, one back pain call, five respiratory issues, 15 general sickness calls, one fainting call, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one seizure, one cardiac arrest/death and one other various medical call. Trauma calls included one overdose, nine auto accidents, 10 falls and one animal bite.
