Albany, Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports — Jan. 8-9, 2018

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by taking on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 1400 block of Westcliff Court, the 2600 block of Rosebrier Avenue, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 900 block of South Cleveland Street;

— Probation violations on the 600 block of Holloway Avenue and the 2200 block of Friar Tuck Lane;

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Medlock Avenue, the 700 block of North Van Buren Street, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 2400 block of North Cleveland Street, the 200 block of South Ingleside Drive and the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Simple battery on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 500 block of Pinson Road;

— Fraud on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Interfering with city officers on the 700 block of East Town Road;

— Traffic arrest on the 500 block of South Magnolia Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of 11th Avenue, the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 700 block of South Harding Street;

— Burglaries on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive, the 800 block of West Residence Avenue and the 900 block of Odom Avenue;

— Suicide or suicide attempt on the 3200 block of Lancaster Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 700 block of McCollum Drive, the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road, the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard and at the intersection of Moultrie Road and the Liberty Expressway;

— Suspicious person on the 800 block of Sue Court;

— Traffic stop on the 20 block of Easy Way Street;

— Battery on the 800 block of Westview Drive;

— Contact person on the 3600 block of Namdi Street;

— Injured animal on the 400 block of Honeysuckle Drive;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department report was unavailable.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 68 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one chest pain call, three abdominal pain/problem calls, two back pain calls, one headache call, one unknown/man down call, eight respiratory issue calls, 28 general sickness calls, two stroke calls, one diabetic issue call, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls, three cardiac arrest/death calls and two various medical calls. Trauma calls included two auto accident calls and nine falls. Other calls included one local transport call and two medical alert activations.
