ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 36 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 400 block of Hickory Lane, the 700 block of Douglas Avenue, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1400 block of East Waddell Avenue, the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane, the 2300 block of Dawson Road and the 400 block of Hudson Lane;
— Entering autos on the 100 block of Collins Street, the 900 block of Pine Avenue, the 200 block of Winchester Road and the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue;
— First-degree burglary on the 900 block of West First Avenue;
— Second-degree burglaries on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road and the 800 block of 21st Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Ebony Lane, the 600 block of Moultrie Road, the 1400 block of Dawson Road, the 800 block of West Dawson Road, the 300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 500 block of South Jefferson Street, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 700 block of Willard Avenue and the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road and on Sutton Place;
— Criminal trespass, family violence, on the 200 block of Slater King Drive, the 900 block of West Society Avenue and the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Family violence on the 1500 block of Malone Drive;
— Child restraint, child under 6 years old, on the 1700 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle theft on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of Lovers Lane Road, the 100 block of Bramblewood Street and the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Family violence on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road, the 5200 block of Doles Road and the 300 block of Hollis Drive;
— Tree down blocking the roadway on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Traffic lights out on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Battery on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Unwanted guest on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle accident on the intersection of West Residence Avenue and North Jackson Street;
— Medical assist on the 2500 block of Homestead Avenue;
— Building fire on the 2000 block of Weymouth Drive;
— Power line down on the 400 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Arcing electrical on the 500 block of Longbow Drive;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 900 block of South Maple Street;
— Camper or recreational vehicle fire on the 1800 block of Ridgemont Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 64 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, nine respiratory issue calls, 19 general sickness calls, two abdominal pain calls, one allergic reaction call, two fainting calls, three stroke calls, four diabetic issues calls, one OB call and two seizure calls. Trauma calls included three auto accident calls, seven falls and one gunshot/stab victim. Other calls included two local transport calls and one medical alert activation call.
