ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Aggravated assaults with a firearm on the 1100 block of West Highland Avenue, the 800 block of Flint Avenue and the 1500 block of East First Avenue;

— Battery on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road;

— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 600 block of Johnson Road and the 2500 block of South Washington Street;

— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue and the 1500 block of Malone Drive;

— Runaway juvenile on the 2500 block of Brookhaven Court;

— Simple assault, family violence, on the 500 block of Swift Street;

— First-degree forgery on the 1100 block of Newton Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 2300 block of St. George Lane, the 2300 block of Doral Court and the corner of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and College Drive;

— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of Hobson Street, the 2100 block of Newton Road, the 600 block of West Third Avenue and the 1600 block of Elva Street;

— Thefts of lost/mislaid property on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 700 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Third-degree forgery on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 2600 block of Dawson Road (two counts) and the 1500 block of North Jefferson Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least four calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of Branch Road;

— Family violence on the 1900 block of Skylark Lane and the 700 block of Cordele Road;

— Contact person on the 2300 block of Oakhaven Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Assist police or other government agency on the 2300 block of North Monroe Street;

— Medical assist at the intersection of Palmyra Road and Seventh Avenue;

— Overheated motor on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;

— Animal rescues on the corner of Merritt Street and East Broad Avenue and the 2200 block of Friar Tuck Lane;

— Arcing electrical on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive and the intersection of East Broad Avenue and Turner Field Road;

— Water or steam leak on the 3400 block of Sweetbriar Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 63 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, 25 general sickness calls, two man down calls, two altered mental status calls, two stroke calls, one OB call, one seizure call and one suicide attempt call. Trauma calls included four auto accident calls, five falls, one laceration call, one assault call and one fire call. Other calls included one standby community event call and two medical alert activation calls.
