ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of South Carolina Avenue, the 1000 block of South McKinley Street and the 3100 block of Graystone Lane;
— Criminal trespass, family violence, on the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of Pinson Road, the 2400 block of North Jefferson Street, the 900 block of Jolly Court, the 1300 block of Dawson Road and the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Battery on the 1100 block of Van Buren Street;
— Interfering with city officers prohibited at the intersection of East Broad Avenue and South Central Street;
— Hit and run on the corner of West Third Avenue and North Madison Street;
— First-degree burglaries on the 600 block of 16th Avenue and the 1800 block of Schley Avenue;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road (two counts), the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Entering auto on the 700 block of Willard Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least eight calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Traffic lights out on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Tree down on the 3600 block of Tarva Road;
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 500 block of Champion Avenue;
— Animal call on the 2500 block of Bridgeboro Street;
— Family violence on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive and the 500 block of Sportsman Club Road;
— Drug arrest on the 2800 block of Gillionville Road;
— Auto accident on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Medical assist on the 2500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Power line down on the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue;
— Building fire on the 600 block of West First Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accident on the 800 block of West Third Avenue;
— EMS call on the 2200 block of Grady Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 49 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included two chest pain calls, one headache call, eight respiratory issue calls, 17 general sickness calls, one fainting call, one altered mental status call, two diabetic issue calls, one OB call, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls, two cardiac arrest/death calls and one various medical call. Trauma calls included one auto accident call, five falls, two assault calls and one heat/cold exposure call. Other calls included two medical alert activation calls.
