ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 2200 block of Pembroke Drive; the 800 block of Cason Street; the 300 block of Collins Street; the 200 block of East Alberson Drive, and family violence with simple battery on the 700 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Child in need of services on the 500 block of West Society Avenue;
— Criminal trespassing on the 2500 block of Buck Court; the 2500 block of Archwood Drive; the 1800 block of West Lakeridge Drive and the 2300 block of Sharon Avenue;
— Harassing phone calls on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking, more than $1,500, on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering autos on the 500 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1300 block of Mercentile Drive;
— Burglary in the second degree on the 1000 block of South McKinley Street;
— Deceased person on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Elm Street and the 1600 block of Owens Avenue;
— Thefts, loss or mislaid property on the 100 block of North Washington Street and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 19 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Assist EMS on the 4500 block of Leary Road;
— Assist motorist on the 500 block of Cordele Road;
— Auto wrecks on the 1500 block of South Mock Road and the 400 block of Branch Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 4500 block of La Costa Drive, the 1700 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 4600 block of Stage Coach Road;
— Discharging firearms on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road and at the intersection of Pine Bluff Road and Clark Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Lost/misplaced property on the 400 block of Oakwood Street;
— 911 hang-ups on the 3100 block of Sylvester Road and the 300 block of Over Court;
— Residential burglary on the 3600 block of Namdi Street;
— Suspicious autos on the 800 block of Holly Drive and the 500 block of Purlock Street;
— Suspicious person on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 25 calls on Saturday through the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Alarm system malfunctions on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road, the 600 block of South Valencia Drive and the 2400 block of Gillionville Road;
— Assist other agency on the 1900 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Building fire on the 1300 block of Evelyn Avenue;
— Electrical short on the 1900 block of South Harding Street;
— EMS call on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive;
— Medical assistance on the 2300 block of Cascade Lane, the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive, the 800 block of Byron Plantation Road, the 600 block of South Maple Street, the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle and the 1200 block of South McKinley Street;
— Outside equipment fire on the 2500 block of Nottingham Way;
— Passenger car fire on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Smoke alarms on the 2100 block of South Madison Street, the 300 block of Enterprise Drive, the 800 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 300 block of South Jackson Street, the 600 block of West Tift Avenue, the 2700 block of Meredyth Drive, the 200 block of Waverly Avenue and the 1100 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Tree fire on the 800 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Unauthorized burning on at the intersection of East Broad Avenue and Marie Road;
— Vehicle wreck on the 2500 block of South County Line Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 55 calls Monday, available reports indicate. There were 39 medical calls, 14 trauma calls and two other types of calls. Calls included four respiratory issue calls, four cardiac arrests, two diabetic issues, two calls for chest pain complaints, one stroke victim, one seizure, one miscellaneous pain complaint and 24 various pain calls. Trauma calls included seven falls, three auto wreck victims, two lacerations, one pedestrian injury, one assault and two medical alert activations.
