ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Simple battery on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Thefts by taking on the 2100 block of Newton Road, the 1900 block of Barnesdale Way and the 2300 block of Tompkins Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Simple assault, family violence, on the 900 block of West Residence Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 1800 block of Regalwood Drive;

— First-degree burglary on the 400 block of Florence Drive;

— Cruelty to animals on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Pointing or aiming gun or pistol at another on the 700 block of Dartmouth Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Animal calls on the 2300 block of Howard Road and the 5100 block of Dower Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of Cordele Avenue;

— Possession of drugs on the 3000 block of East Park Court;

— Entering auto on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;

— Infant locked in vehicle on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Assist motorist on the 2500 block of Crusoe Village Court;

— Unwanted guest on the 3100 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of North Rosewood Drive;

— Contact person on the 400 block of Philema Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of Henson Drive;

— Assist APD with a suspect from homicide on East Broad Avenue on the 4800 block of Impala Lane.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Gasoline or other flammable substance on the 1700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Passenger vehicle fires at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Nottingham Way and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Medical assists on the 2500 block of Olivia Street and the 300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Power lines down on the 1800 block of Sycamore Court, the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the corner of Crusoe Village Court and Crusoe Village Lane;

— Grass fire on the 1000 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Building or structure weakened on the 500 block of Willard Avenue;

— Building fire on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

— Gas leak on the 2300 block of Forest Glen Drive;

— Arcing electrical on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Assist police or other government agency on the 300 block of East Broad Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 55 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, four respiratory issue calls, one headache call, one heat/cold exposure call, one unknown/man down call, 16 general sickness calls, one fainting call, one stroke call, one OB call, three seizure calls and five abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, three auto accident calls, eight falls, two drowning calls and one traumatic injury call. Other calls included one standby for APD and two medical alert activations.
