Albany, Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports — March 28-29, 2018

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Suicide attempt on the 1200 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Aggravated assaults on the 100 block of Agnes Avenue, the 1000 block of Blakely Court, the 2200 block of Bedford Court and the 1600 block of Whiting Drive;

— Solicitations on the 500 block of Swift Street, and on the corner of Slappey Boulevard and Gillionville Road;

— Criminal trespassing on the 900 block of South Street, the 1700 block of Jean Avenue and the 1200 block of Julia Avenue;

— Battery on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Armed robbery on the 1500 block of Parkview Court;

— Possession of marijuana on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least six calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 400 block of Philema Road and the 2900 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Harassing phone call on the 6000 block of Jenkins Road;

— Residential burglary on the 800 block of Shelton Drive;

— Loud music on the 100 block of Northeast Rosewood Drive;

— Suspicious person on the 100 block of Northeast Rosewood Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least two calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents include:

— EMS assistance on the 200 block of West Third Avenue;

— Building fire on the 700 block of Gordon Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 64 calls on Monday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, three abdominal pain calls, one headache call, one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt call, 22 general sickness calls, one seizure call, two unknown/man-down calls, two altered mental status calls, two cardiac arrest/death calls, and one medical type of call. Trauma calls included four auto accidents, four falls, two assaults, four gunshots/stabbings and one traumatic injury. Other calls included one standby for the Albany Police Department and two local transports.
