ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 21 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 1000 block of South Davis Street, the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue, the 1000 block of Clark Avenue and the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of North Monroe Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue, the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road and the 1300 block of Edgewood Lane;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2200 block of Lionel Lane;
— Aggravated battery on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Public indecency on the 600 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road (two counts) and the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking with a firearm on the 500 block of Pinson Road;
— Second-degree burglary on the 1300 block of South Mock Road;
— Armed robbery with a firearm on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Possession of cocaine on the corner of Maple Street and East Tift Avenue;
— Fourth-degree forgery on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Entering autos on the 2700 block of McCall Lane (two counts), the 2600 block of Crofton Drive and the 500 block of Southgate Drive;
— Wanted person on the 800 block of Sue Court;
— Criminal trespass on the 2400 block of Betty’s Drive;
— Auto accidents on the 3900 block of Harris Road and the intersection of Fleming Road and South County Line Road;
— Suspicious vehicle on the corner of Sylvester Road and County Line Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 500 block of Azalea Lane;
— Family violence on the 1300 block of Miller Street;
— Prisoner transport on the 200 block of Patrol Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Building fires on the 100 block of North West Road, the 100 block of Marie Road (three incidences) and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Outside rubbish fire on the 100 block of North West Road;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the corner of North Westover Boulevard and Westgate Drive;
— Assist police on the 400 block of Cannon Avenue;
— Animal rescue on the 2700 block of Dover Lane;
— Medical assist on the 2700 block of Pointe North Court.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 69 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, five abdominal pain calls, one headache call, two man down calls, 23 general sickness calls, two fainting calls, one altered mental status call, one seizure call and two various medical calls. Trauma calls included nine auto accident calls, three falls and one assault. Other calls included four standby calls for APD and two medical alert activation calls.
