ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 27 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by taking on the 200 block of Cordele Road (two counts), the 1700 block of Stuart Avenue, the 200 block of Franklin Drive, the 300 block of Grant Place and the 2100 block of Newton Road;

— Children in need of services, unruly, on the 600 block of Johnny West Williams Road and the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Simple battery on the 2300 block of Stuart Avenue;

— Simple battery, family violence, on the 200 block of Collins Street;

— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of East Oakridge Drive;

— First-degree burglary on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

— Aggravated assault with a firearm on the 1100 block of Newton Road;

— False imprisonment on the 800 block of North Washington Street;

— Aggravated assault, family violence, on the 500 block of Cotton Avenue;

— Deceased person on the 400 block of Vintage Road;

— Injured person on the 400 block of Johnny West Williams Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Missing persons on the 3100 block of Wax Myrtle Court, the 1600 block of Jean Avenue and the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— First-degree home invasion on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of South Valencia Drive, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the corner of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the Liberty Expressway;

— Computer theft on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Fourth-degree forgery on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 13 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Attempt to locate on the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Holly Drive;

— Burglar alarm on the 300 block of Ramsey Road;

— Family violence on the 2800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Thefts by taking on the 2700 block of Astoria Road and the 1700 block of Beattie Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on Newton Road;

— Contact persons on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road, the 30 block of Luke Drive, the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 200 block of Holly Drive;

— Animals at large on the corner of Blue Springs Road and Butternut Avenue and the 5700 block of Medley Lane;

— Entering auto on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least three calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Search for person on land on the 2100 block of Radium Springs Road;

— EMS call on the 2400 block of Barnesdale Way;

— Building fire on the 600 block of Parkwood Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 49 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included two chest pain calls, two respiratory issue calls, one abdominal pain call, one man down call, 22 general sickness calls, one stroke call, three diabetic issue calls, one suicide attempt call and one cardiac arrest call. Trauma calls included one overdose call, one auto accident call, five falls, one laceration call, three assault calls, two gunshot/stab calls and one animal bite. Other calls included one local transport.
