ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 400 block of Fulse Lane;
— Simple assault on the 2600 block of Colonial Drive;
— Simple battery on the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 2200 block of Habersham Road;
— Battery on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue and the 1700 block of Jean Avenue;
— Burglary on the 2000 block of McIntosh Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 1300 block of Towering Pines Lane and the 400 block of South Nolan Street;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 500 block of Fifth Avenue;
— Theft by deception on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;
— Missing person on the 1800 block of Keystone Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 16 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents on the 1600 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast, the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast, the corner of Honeysuckle Drive and Moultrie Road, and the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Suspicious autos on the corner of Vanderbilt Drive and Old Pretoria Road, the corner of Finch Street and Station Drive, and the 5100 block of Hill Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and the 4900 block of Holly Hill Road;
— Drugs on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of Southgate Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 2700 block of Ozell Williams Road;
— Injured animal on the 100 block of North Magnolia Street;
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 1700 block of Cordele Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Lockett Station Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Building fire on the 1800 block of Keystone Avenue;
— EMS calls on the 2700 block of Meredyth Avenue and the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive;
— Steam, vapor, fog or dust on the 200 block of North Broadway Street;
— Animal problem on the 500 block of North Jackson Street;
— Motor vehicle accidents on the corner of West Third Avenue and North Jefferson Street, and the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 51 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four abdominal pain/problem calls, five chest pain calls, three respiratory issue calls, 11 general sickness calls, two faint calls, two altered mental status calls, one OB call, one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt call, two cardiac arrest/death calls and one various medical call. Trauma calls included one overdose, seven auto accidents and three lacerations. Other calls included one local transport.
