ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of Holloway Avenue and the 400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Simple battery on the 400 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of 10th Avenue, the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 800 block of Cotton Avenue and the 1600 block of Henri Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Thornwood Court and the 700 block of North Maple Street;
— Missing person on the 1100 block of St. Andrews Drive;
— Battery on the 1200 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Entering autos on the 1300 block of Montego Court, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue and the 1400 block of East Lincoln Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Deceased person on the 2700 block of Elton Street;
— Auto accident on the 2200 block of Newton Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accident extrication on the corner of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and Holly Drive;
— Auto accidents on the corner of Moultrie Road and Wildflower Lane, the corner of Sylvester Highway and North County Line Road, the 6700 block of Newton Road and the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 2600 block of Crofton Drive and the 1200 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Loud music on the 3300 block of Fleming Road;
— Thefts by taking on the corner of Leary Road and Mud Creek Road and the 200 block of Lumpkin Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Seventh Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Authorized controlled burnings on the 3600 block of Old Dawson Road, the 2700 block of Cordele Road and the 1700 block of Palmyra Road;
— Arcing, shorted electrical on the 1000 block of Swift Court and the 200 block of West Third Avenue;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 200 block of Webster Avenue and the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accidents on the corner of Westover Boulevard and Westgate Drive, the 3200 block of Gillionville Road, the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road, the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast, and the corner of Gillionville Road and North Slappey Boulevard;
— EMS call on the 800 block of 10th Avenue;
— Off-road vehicle or heavy equipment fire on the 4000 block of Harris Road;
— Building fires on the 1800 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 1500 block of Ken Gardens Road and the 400 block of Maxwell Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 72 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, two headache calls, 15 respiratory issue calls, 20 general sickness calls, two altered mental status calls, two stroke calls, one diabetic call, one OB call, one seizure call, three abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls and three cardiac arrest/death calls. Trauma calls included three overdoses, six auto accidents, five falls, one laceration, one assault and one fire. Other calls included one local transport.
