Albany, Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports — Oct. 16-17, 2018

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Possession of marijuana on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue, the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Battery on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 500 block of East Oakridge Drive;

— Traffic arrest on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1800 block of Seay Court;

— Simple battery on the 900 block of Eastman Drive and the 2400 block of Hilltop Drive;

— Forgery on the 100 block of Cordele Road;

— DUI on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Injured person on the 400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 500 block of Corn Avenue;

— Simple assault on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;

— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Jefferies Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least seven calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Persimmon Drive;

— Traffic arrests on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 2000 block of South County Line Road;

— Fraud on the 1800 block of Habersham Road;

— Burglary of a business on the 3100 block of Leary Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 4000 block of Moultrie Road;

— Abandoned auto on the 500 block of Branch Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 78 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, two abdominal pain/problems calls, three allergic reaction/sting calls, one choking call, one headache call, one heat/cold exposure call, two unknown/man down calls, 21 general sickness calls, two faint calls, four altered mental status calls, one diabetic call, two seizure calls, one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt call, two cardiac arrest/death calls and one various medical call. Trauma calls included one overdose, nine falls, three lacerations, one burn and two traumatic injuries. Other calls included one standby for APD, one local transport, three medical alert activations and one standby for a school function.
