ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 25 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Missing person on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 900 block of West Tift Avenue, the 700 block of Shadowlawn Drive, the 2500 block of Cherokee Drive and the 1000 block of East Tift Avenue;

— DUI on the 600 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Aggravated assault on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal trespasses on the 800 block of Shadowlawn Drive, the 2000 block of North Skylane Drive and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Fraud on the 700 block of Goodall Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 1200 block of Wyandotte Drive, the 1900 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 2600 block of Carlton Court and the 700 block of Gilbert Lane

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 200 block of South Monroe Street;

— Injured person on the 600 block of 10th Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Rape on West Gordon Avenue;

— Child in need of services on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Entering auto on the 400 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 500 block of Johnny W. Williams Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 1300 block of Mckenzie Road, the 1200 block of Moultrie Road, the 1100 block of Eight Mile Road and the 1300 block of Nelms Road;

— Obstruction of a police officer on the intersection of Newton Road and Oakhaven Drive;

— Traffic arrest on the 1300 block of Antioch Road;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 1900 block of River Point Drive;

— Child abuse on Roxanna Road;

— Burglary on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue;

— Demented person on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;

— Drug overdose on the 300 block of Azalea Boulevard.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— EMS assistance on the 1800 block of Robinhood Road and the 600 block of Jefferies Avenue;

— Motor vehicle accidents on the 100 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the intersection of Nelms Road and Liberty Expressway;

— Arcing, shorted electrical on the 800 block of 10th Avenue;

— Grass fire on the corner of Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road;

— Gas leak on the 1100 block of Clark Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 61 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The medical calls included one chest pain, one abdominal pain/problem, one lift assistance, six respiratory issues, 19 general sicknesses, four altered mental statuses, two strokes, one diabetic issue, three abnormal behaviors/suicide attempts and one cardiac arrest/death.

The trauma calls included six auto accidents, eight falls, two lacerations and two assaults. The other calls included one local transport, two medical alert activations and one stand-by at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
