ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 67 calls on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 2500 block of Beachview Drive, the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 500 block of Swift Street, the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue and the 3700 block of Mayfair Lane;

— Obstruction of law enforcement officers on the 1500 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Interfering with city officers prohibited on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal damage to property on the 200 block of North Broadway Street;

— DUI on the 700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Simple assault on Sutton Place;

— Robbery by force on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue.

— Injured animals on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road and the 2900 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Speeding auto on the 2500 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Suspicious persons on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway and the 100 block of Ramsey Road;

— Family violence on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway, the 3400 block of Aristedes Road, the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive and the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;

— Drug overdose on the 1000 block of Westview Drive;

— Juvenile problem on the 3300 block of Sweetbriar Road;

— Abandoned auto on the 100 block of Royal Palms Court;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 29 calls on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Motor vehicle accidents on the 2000 block of Nottingham Way, the 700 block of Pine Avenue, the corner of Clark Avenue and Turner Field Road, the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the corner of West Oakridge Drive and Old Pretoria Road and the corner of the Liberty Expressway and Blaylock Street;

— Animal rescues on the 2200 block of Howard Drive, the 200 block of Frost Street, the 100 block of North County Line Road and the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Drive;

— Building fire on the 1500 block of Martha Street;

— Unauthorized burnings on the corner of Holly Drive and the Liberty Expressway, on Morningside Drive, the 900 block of Desota Street, the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue, the 500 block of 10th Avenue, the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue and the 6000 block of Elliot Drive;

— Water or steam leak on the 300 block of Slater King Drive;

— EMS calls on the 5100 block of Gillionville Road, the 1900 block of Palmyra Road and the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Arcing, shorted electrical on the 1500 block of Canary Lane, the 500 block of Ninth Avenue and the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane;

— Power line down on the 2000 block of Robinhood Road;

— Police matter on the 200 block of Skywater Boulevard;

— Excessive heat, scorch burns, on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;

— Outside rubbish or trash fire on the 2700 block of Yorktown Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 46 calls on Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one chest pain call, four abdominal pain/problem calls, one allergic reaction/sting call, three unknown/man down calls, seven respiratory issue calls, 15 general sickness calls, one altered mental status call, one stroke call, one OB call and two abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, three falls and one assault. Other calls included four local transports and one medical alert activation.
