ALBANY — The Albany-Dougherty Homeless Coalition, in collaboration with the city of Albany’s Department of Community and Economic Development, will host the fifth annual Project Homeless Connect event at the Albany Civic Center next week.

Project Homeless Connect delivers services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Once a year, through a partnership with service providers, businesses, citizens and faith congregations, the ADHC is able to bring multiple resources to one central location so that those who are homeless or are at risk of being homeless, can come and access the services they need.

The event, which takes place from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, includes food, housing, employment, medical care, mental health care, benefits, legal assistance, eye care, haircuts, dental care and much more.
