ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Aggravated assault on the 900 block of Friendship Drive and the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Moore Avenue;
— Burglary on the 500 block of West 1st Avenue and the 500 block of South Valencia Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 500 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Wanted person on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane;
— Battery on the 500 block of Endicot Lane and the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street and the 400 block of Cannon Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Auto accident with injuries on the 4100 block of Sylvester Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Fraud on the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;
— Auto accident on the 1000 block of Spring Hill Drive and the intersection of South County Line Road and Spring Flats Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3400 block of Tarva Road, the 10 block of Luke Drive and the 2700 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Traffic stop on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Deportment responded to at least nine incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included public service, extrication of victim from vehicle, arching or shorted electrical equipment, smoke from scorched food, an alarm activation, a smoke detector activation and fog mistaken for smoke.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 49 various calls on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included six respiratory call, one diabetic issue, two miscellaneous pain complaints, two mental health calls, two strokes, two seizures and one altered mental status issue.
Trauma calls included one animal bite, nine falls, one laceration and three vehicle accident victims.
