Albany police investigate Shadowlawn shooting

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred Tuesday at 11:10 a.m.

Jaboris Cato reported that while he was walking along the 700 block of South Shadowlawn Drive, four suspects drove up to him and the person in the front passenger-side seat fired several shots at him. One of the bullets hit Cato in his left forearm area.

Cato was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The suspects were described as unidentified African-Americans in a beige 2014-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe. The car’s front bumper also displayed a tag with the letters “CDS & A STAR” on it.
