Reginal Hosley is arrested on murder and assault charges
From Staff Reports
ALBANY — Albany police made an arrest Saturday evening in a homicide case stemming from a Dec. 17 shooting death.
Reginald Hosley, 24, was taken into custody at 506 Swift St., Albany police officials said. Hosley was booked into the Dougherty County Jail on warrants charging murder, aggravated assault, and probation violation, police said.
Hosely was wanted in the Dec. 17 shooting death of Curtis Davis Jr., who was found shot in the alley between West Society Avenue and West Tift Avenue, according to reports.
A victim of aggravated assault, De Haven Harris, was with Davis at the time of the shooting, but was not seriously injured, police said.
Last month, Albany police reported three arrests in connection with Davis’ slaying — Brian Massey, 29, on charges of conspiracy to commit felony murder and aggravated assault; Berrick Redding, 21, on charges of conspiracy to commit felony murder and aggravated assault, and Cordarrius Clay, 22, on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
Officials said in January that they were searching for Hosley and two others in the case. Montravious Parks, 25, is wanted on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault, police said, and Alonzo Jones, 19, is wanted on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and aggravated assault.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Albany Police Department at (229) 431-2100 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477).
