ALBANY — Albany police are currently searching for a man who reportedly stole a videogame system from an Albany apartment and then pawned it in an area pawn shop.
James Demetris Davis, 24, who goes by the alias “Poochie,” is wanted for first-degree burglary following an incident on Feb. 12 during which a videogame system was taken from an apartment at 2415 Dawson Road.
Davis is also facing a warrant for theft by deception after he reportedly pawned stolen property on Feb. 16. Additionally, Davis is wanted for probation violation.
Davis is a black male, with black hair and hazel eyes. He is listed at 6-feet tall, and weighing 166 pounds. Davis is described as having multiple tattoos, and his last known address was 509 N. Westover Blvd. in Albany.
