Albany Tech names new vice president for student affairs

ALBANY — Jerri Carroll has been named the new vice president for student affairs at Albany Technical College effective July 1, the college announced.

Carroll brings more than two decades of extensive experience in higher education administration, having held leadership roles in student services and academic advising.

The new Albany Tech VP previously served as dean of students at Central Alabama Community College, where she managed a range of student services. Her career also includes tenures at Troy University, where she served in multiple capacities, including campus registrar and associate director for student services, leading student services training, development and support for more than 22 sites in Troy’s then Southeast region as well as student information systems’ employee training for the university.

Carroll is currently pursuing a doctor of philosophy in Adult Education from Auburn University.
