ALBANY — Albany Technical College President Emmett Griswold will deliver the annual State of the College address on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the college’s Kirkland Conference Center.

Griswold will highlight Albany Technical College’s graduation and job placement rates for academic year 2023-2024. Information on how the college ended the 2024 academic year will be presented for overall enrollment, dual enrollment, and student retention rate.

The ATC president also will discuss the top programs by enrollment and the counties the college serves. Additionally, the address will highlight campus improvements, enhanced safety and security initiatives, and the Albany Tech Foundation’s efforts to support students in financial need. These insights will offer a comprehensive view of the college’s performance.

The State of the College address is a key communication tool for Albany Tech. It provides a platform for the president to inform various stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and the broader community, about the college’s status, achievements, challenges, and future initiatives.

The address helps foster transparency and accountability within the college, ensuring everyone is informed about the college’s progress and direction. It also helps build a sense of unity and purpose among the college community by highlighting collective accomplishments and shared goals.

The State of the College address will be broadcast live on the Albany Tech’s YouTube channel.
