Crash leaves minor injuries to driver

According to an Albany Police Department report, Alfred Odom, 42, drove his 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche off the road as he went north on Willie Pitts Jr. Road just before 2 p.m. Thursday. After he hit the curb, he struck an underground transformer and then hit a brick column at the Dalewood Estates entrance, police said. Odom was treated by Dougherty County EMS at the scene for minor injuries. There was no power outage from the crash. Odom was cited for failure to maintain lane.
