Debutantes presented at annual Charity League ball

ALBANY — Seventeen young ladies were presented as members of the Albany Debutante Club by the Charity League of Albany at the club’s annual Debutante Ball.

The Charity League held its 2017 Debutante Ball at the Hilton Garden Inn. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the young ladies of the 2017 Albany Debutante Club.

The purpose of the Debutante Club is for the members to become better acquainted with the needs of the community in charitable, educational, cultural and civic areas; to respond with volunteer service, and to engage in a fundraising project.

Members of the 2017 Albany Debutante Club are:

— Mary Rachel Bonner, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wallace Dohn Bonner, legacy, Special Projects Chairwoman of the 2017 Debutante Club;

— Haley Mayne Broadaway, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Drew Broadaway;

— Margaret Collins Chandler, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Chadwick Chandler, legacy;

— Sarah Elizabeth Cox, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Brett Carleton Wilson and Mr. Charles Drue Cox IV;

— Flannery Jane Daughtry, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Todd Daughtry;
