Donation drive will help seniors stay warm for the winter

ALBANY — Along with the holiday season comes a drop in temperature. To help senior citizens stay warm in the cooler weather, the Albany Recreations and Parks Department is hosting a blanket and throw donation drive. Additionally, the department will give any pink blankets donated to seniors who are fighting or have survived breast cancer.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 5 at these locations:

— All Albany Fire Department Stations

Seven days a week, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
