Dougherty County hosting virtual career fair
Live Facebook session to educate potential Dougherty County employees

ALBANY — Dougherty County is launching a virtual career expo on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m.
The session will be held through the county’s human resources Facebook page at facebook.com/DoughertyCountyCommissionHumanResources. Officials said the objective of the session is to educate any aspiring future Dougherty County employees on current vacancies, application instructions and hiring processes.
During the session, attendees will be able to ask questions live and receive immediate feedback. Designed to be a recurring feature on the page, the event is scheduled to be updated monthly or bi-weekly, depending on the response of applicants and citizens.
The first event will be hosted by Human Resources Director Dominique Hall. Future presentations will feature various other county department leaders and department managers of Dougherty County government.
“We look forward to answering all questions and bringing you a fresh new way to locate careers for Dougherty County,” Hall said.
To attend the event, login to Facebook and search for the Dougherty County Commission Human Resources page. By attending live, individuals can ask questions by “joining” the session and typing questions in the comment box within the video.
While there, individuals can “like” the page and be able to view the presentation after the event it they miss the live session.
