Classes will be Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings

ALBANY — Those who wants some help learning how to surf the internet or getting up to speed on operating a computer can sign up for classes conducted by the Dougherty County Public Library System.
The free computer classes will provide instruction on basic skills, internet and email, an introduction to using Word, and introductions to social media and to Tablet Lab.
Participants can come to one or all of the classes, which will be conducted 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Saturdays at the Central Branch, 300 Pine Ave.
Registration is open, and library officials say sign-ups are needed because space is limited. Contact Reference at (229) 420-3210, and check the library system’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages at docolib for updates.
