Phoebe Sumter nominated as Most Beautiful Hospital in U.S.

AMERICUS – National health care staffing firm Soliant has announced that Phoebe Sumter Medical Center has been nominated for the 2024 Most Beautiful Hospital contest, which will recognize the top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals across the country. Phoebe Sumter won this distinction in 2015.

Since 2009, more than 200 hospitals have been recognized by Soliant for their commitment to creating holistic and healing environments. This year, Soliant will donate $5,000 to the foundation of the hospital that wins the 2024 Most Beautiful Hospital title.

Soliant CEO David Alexander describes hospital beauty as “more than skin deep; health care staff create the heart and soul of the hospital, radiating a special kind of beauty formed through genuine connections with patients.”

Now that nominations are closed, the voting period has begun and will last until July 25.

“We need your help to be recognized as the Most Beautiful Hospital and win the $5,000 prize,” hospital officials said. “As a patient, employee or community member of this hospital, we ask you to support Phoebe Sumter Medical Center with your vote.”
